J. Lo Premieres Racy Video for “Dance Again” on Americal Idol
Last night on American Idol, judge, pop star and mother of two Jennifer Lopez (a.k.a J. Lo) premiered her new controversial video ‘Dance Again’. The video disturbingly features her and her 24 year old dancer “boy-toy” Casper Smart rubbing and panting all over each other. This display of debauchery doesn’t seem at all appropriate for the young viewers of American Idol. Before making such a careless move, J.Lo should maybe stop and thing of how her own children will view her?

A final Los Angeles County coroner’s report, released yesterday, described Whitney Houston as being discovered submerged face-down in hot water in the bathtub of her Beverly Hills hotel suite with an unidentified white powdery residue left in a spoon on the bathroom counter.
The report confirmed that the 48-year-old singer drowned, with heart disease and cocaine use listed as contributing factors. It concluded that Houston’s death was accidental.
James McCartney & Other Sons of Beatles May Form New Band, The Beatles: The Next Generation
In an interview with BBC, James McCartney (son of famous Beatle Paul McCartney) revealed that he is interested in teaming up with the sons of other famous Beatles to form a new band, The Beatles: The Next Generation.
“I don’t think it’s something that Zak [Starkey] wants to do,” says McCartney. “Maybe Jason [Starkey] would want to do it. I’d be up for it. Sean [Lennon] seemed to be into it, Dhani [Harrison] seemed to be into it. I’d be happy to do it.”
Guess we will just have to wait and see what happens but this could be very big news for the music industry.
Maddona’s New Album ‘MDNA’ Tops Billboard Charts Despite Critics’ Lukewarm Reviews
Madonna’s 12th studio album, dedicated to club-friendly dance tracks, sold 359,000 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan, despite lukewarm reviews from critics and minimal promotional appearances by the singer.
This is the fifth time in the 53-year-old singer’s career that her album has debuted at No. 1, following her 2008 CD “Hard Candy,” and she is the second woman to top the chart eight times behind Barbra Streisand, who holds the title with nine chart-topping albums.
Simon Cowell on Britney Spears Joining X-Factor Judges
Los Angeles: Music mogul Simon Cowell reportedly isn`t excited about the prospect of Britney Spears joining the judges` panel of X-Factor.
The pop star has apparently expressed interest but Cowell thinks Spears won`t be able to deliver good advice, reported Us magazine.
“Simon`s worried she won`t be able to deliver good advice, and he`s afraid contestants won`t take her seriously,” a show insider said of the British producer, 50, who doesn`t
want his program`s brand associated with the formerly troubled teen idol.
When it comes to filling the vacant spots on the panel, Cowell is also hoping to sign on someone with a little more experience in the business.
“He`ll probably go more in the direction of Mariah Carey or Janet Jackson,” the show source added.

Plastic Ono Band Adds Big Names to Roster in NY
The Plastic Ono Band will be performing this year for the first time in 40 years. A special performance will be held February 16th at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York at 8:00PM. It was recently confirmed that some original members of the band and big names in music are going to be included in this show such as Eric Clapton, Klaus Voorman, Paul Simon, Bette Midler and of course one of my favorites, John and Yoko’s son Sean Lennon. Some of you might know that Clapton was original lead guitar and Voorman originally on bass. I previously wrote information regarding Plastic Ono Band Exclusive Presale Tickets for the show in Oakland, CA. These are the only two shows that are announced right now. As soon as more are released I will update again! But I am really wishing I lived in one of these two states right now!!!
Beatles Yellow Submarine Remake in the Making
I just read on Rolling Stone’s Rock & Roll Daily that director Robert Zemeckis has a Beatle’s Yellow Submarine movie in the works and plans to hopefully premiere it by 2012. It may be an animation but then again he’s talking about involving actors to make it a live action film. Either way, I think it will pretty much be crap. First off there already is an animated Yellow Submarine movie that’s just great! It would definitely be hard to top the original. If he decides to make it a live action movie, it still would probably suck. Just look at the “no-names” he’s “casted” to portray the 4 artistic geniuses!

The only decent thing about the rumored film production is that it will include original tracks by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. The producers have already secured the rights to the music to include it in the movie. So at least if somehow I end up watching this crap after it debuts I can close my eyes and listen to some absolutely wonderful music! We’ll see what happens…
